Nearly a year after Hulk Hogan’s death, newly obtained police records reveal that his daughter Brooke had significant concerns about how her father’s body was handled in the days following his passing. According to a Clearwater Police Department report, Brooke reached out to law enforcement shortly after Hulk died in July 2025 to ask critical questions about whether an autopsy would be performed.

The wrestling legend passed away on July 24, 2025, at age 71, following cardiac arrest at his Florida home. But Brooke’s questions didn’t stop at whether an autopsy would happen—she was specifically worried about her dad’s recent medical history, particularly after hearing he’d undergone what she described as a“botched”surgery. When she spoke with officers, she also raised concerns about cremation and wanted to understand her options for commissioning a private autopsy, a move that ultimately led her to ask Clearwater Police for guidance on coordinating with her father’s widow, Sky Bollea.

What’s striking is the timeline. A couple of weeks after her initial contact, police called Brooke back on August 21 asking if she’d meet to discuss the death investigation and“clarify some of the speculation in the public.”The police officer told her the conversation felt necessary, but Brooke said she wouldn’t be available until November. She continued to press for details about how autopsies work and expressed ongoing concerns about the private autopsy process.

Around the same time, Brooke went public with her questions, discussing them during an interview with Bubba the Love Sponge. She’d even offered to pay for a private autopsy herself—a move that signaled real doubts about the official cause of death or the thoroughness of the investigation. For someone in Brooke’s position, stepping into the spotlight with those kinds of concerns takes guts, especially when it involves her father and his widow.

The police records paint a picture of a daughter trying to navigate grief, medical uncertainty, and family dynamics all at once. While authorities had their answers ready—deferring to the Medical Examiner on autopsy decisions and redirecting cremation questions to Sky—Brooke’s persistence suggests she felt something wasn’t adding up. Whether those concerns were ever fully addressed remains unclear, but the paper trail shows she wasn’t willing to let her questions go unanswered.
