New York Comic Con’s“Helluva Boss”panel took a sharp turn Thursday when an attendee interrupted the cast six separate times, starting during creator Vivienne Medrano’s remarks and continuing through voice actor Vivian Nixon’s discussion about motherhood. Brandon Rogers, who voices Blitzo on the hit animated series, warned the heckler that he would“jump over this fence and end you,”then asked the room,“Can someone please get this motherf-er the hell out of here?”

The heckler was reportedly escorted out, but not before fans grew frustrated with how long it took. ReedPop, the organizer behind New York Comic Con, acknowledged the disruption and apologized for the delayed response, which seemed to satisfy many attendees calling for faster security at large panels.

The internet is now split on the moment itself. Some are praising Rogers for defending his castmates and refusing to let one person tank a panel that thousands of fans paid to attend, while others say the threat went too far and security should have handled it from the first interruption. One thing everyone seems to agree on: panel etiquette is not optional. So where do you land? Should performers call out hecklers themselves, or stay quiet and let event staff deal with it?
