Brandi Glanville is finally getting answers. The RHOBH alum announced on her October 8 podcast that she’s scheduled exploratory surgery in a couple weeks to identify the cause of a facial disfigurement she’s been battling since 2023. The procedure will place balloons in her Eustachian tubes to help everything drain, and she told listeners she’s scared but excited to get her life back.

The road to this point has been brutal. Glanville says she’s spent more than $113,000 on treatment and has been diagnosed with a long list of conditions, including ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis. On the podcast, she described the sensation in stark terms:“Something is in my face, eating it. I know they’re going to find that out when they go in there.”

What’s really resonating with fans is how her reality TV family has rallied. A GoFundMe started by her friend Gina Rodriguez has raised more than $23,000, with donations from Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson and Claudia Jordan. Yolanda Hadid even connected her with doctors. After four years of fighting largely in public, Glanville is heading into surgery with a support system behind her.

Have you ever dealt with a health scare that doctors couldn’t figure out? How did you get through it?
