Boyz II Men has officially signed with Warner Records Nashville, and the trio is preparing a country album for release in 2027. The move caps off years of country-adjacent work for the Philadelphia group, including a CMT Crossroads episode with Brett Young, a collaboration with bluegrass outfit Steep Canyon Rangers on“Be Still Moses,”and most recently“I Love The One”with Lady A for a project inspired by The Chosen.
Warner Records Nashville chair and president Cris Lacy said the group’s global influence is decades in the making, adding that their childhood love of Randy Travis made the partnership a natural fit. Manager Joe Mulvihill echoed the sentiment, calling the trio entertainers first and a vocal group second. It’s hard to argue with four Grammys and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The signing adds a beloved R&B name to a Warner Nashville roster that already includes Cody Johnson, Ashley McBryde, and Bailey Zimmerman, and it signals just how wide the country tent has become. Which Boyz II Men classic would you most want to hear with a Nashville twist? Tell us in the comments.
