The Egg Roll King’s truck is covered in AI-generated artwork starring an anthropomorphic egg roll with bodybuilder arms, a king’s robe, a crown, and a medallion that just says“Egg Roll.”Two shrimp-humanoid guards and a crew of costumed minions round out the branding. TikToker Christian Cortes posted a video calling it out, asking why anyone would spend money at a business that won’t put effort into marketing to its own customers. His comment section quickly filled with people sharing similar sightings, including a BBQ truck with a biker pig mascot. According to Laura Smith, legal director for Truth in Advertising, there’s still no Supreme Court ruling or broad legislation on AI food imagery, so these disputes get decided case by case in court.
