Bernadette Peters, Darren Criss and Ariana DeBose to Perform at the Sold-Out Fetch Pet Gala in NYC

The Fetch Pet Gala is back for its second year, and the lineup is stacked. Bernadette Peters, Darren Criss and Ariana DeBose will perform at the sold-out event on Monday, Oct. 19, at The Carlyle in New York City. The evening opens with a Green Carpet featuring adoptable shelter dogs, followed by dinner, performances and a surprise-guest after party.

Proceeds from the night benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Barks, Wags&Walks and North Shore Animal League America. Fetch Pet Insurance has raised more than $14.6 million for animal-related charitable causes, and last year’s inaugural gala brought out Peters, Sutton Foster and Leslie Odom, Jr., with John Legend appearing as the surprise guest.

Organizers say the event is about more than a glamorous night out. Paul Guyardo, president and CEO of Fetch Pet Insurance, called it a one-of-a-kind celebration honoring organizations doing lifesaving work for pets, while Broadway Cares executive director Danny Whitman noted the comfort a beloved pet brings when life gets difficult.
