Becky G and Tokischa are officially joining the cast of“House of Guerrero,”the boxing drama that marks Gina Rodriguez’s feature directorial debut. Becky G takes on the role of Maya Alvarado, the on-again, off-again love interest to Alex Guerrero (Carlos Sanson Jr.), while Tokischa steps in as Maya’s fiercely protective best friend Xochitl Romero, her very first film acting role.
The cast is stacked beyond the two music stars. Gina Rodriguez also stars as Paloma Guerrero, with George Lopez and Rosario Dawson playing Alex’s parents.
