Brooklyn’s indie music scene just got a massive boost. Bazooka! Fest has officially announced their 2026 lineup for August 22-23 at The Meadows and The Wood Shop. The two-day festival is headlined by the reunited Times New Viking, a band that defined lo-fi indie rock for a whole generation. Alongside them, you’ll find Stephin Merritt of The Magnetic Fields, Dan Bejar’s project Destroyer, and the always energetic Cloud Nothings. The festival is curated by Jake Whitener, the former A&R head at Matador Records, so expect a lineup full of carefully selected gems.
Tickets for single-day, two-day GA, and VIP passes are already on sale through the festival’s website. This is one of those events where the curation alone tells you it’s going to be special. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Times New Viking or you want to discover something new, Bazooka! Fest delivers. New York area music lovers, this is not one to miss. Which act on the lineup has you most excited to grab tickets?
