Southern Charm star Shep Rose, 46, recently opened up about how his ayahuasca experience led him to a major realization about his past relationship with Taylor Ann Green, 31—and hinted that she’s becoming part of his life again.

During a Wednesday, July 1 appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, Shep reflected on the spiritual process of ayahuasca, a hallucinogenic drug used in South American cultures for deep emotional healing and trauma release (it’s illegal in the United States). He described going through an emotional spiral while under its influence, one that forced him to confront his behavior in his two-year relationship with Taylor that ended in 2022.

What emerged from that introspection was something like regret mixed with gratitude.“She loved me so much and she cared about me so much and I took it for granted and I care about her and her family very much,”Shep admitted. He credited the fact that their relationship“stayed somewhat connected”after the split, and dropped a bombshell: Taylor is now“a little bit back”in his life. He couldn’t divulge specifics—Southern Charm is currently filming its 12th season—but the implication was clear.

Here’s where it gets interesting. Taylor herself addressed reconciliation rumors last month during an appearance on“The Viall Files”podcast, flatly denying they were getting back together.“I have seen the rumors that we’re getting back together or hooking up again or whatever, and that is not true,”she said. She even took a pointed jab at her own dating history, saying she’d hope to have“a little bit more respect for myself to go from one cheating ex to the other.”This came after her three-year relationship with Gaston Rojas ended in June. Taylor had previously left Southern Charm in April 2025 following season 10, but was spotted filming with the cast in mid-June at an Atlanta airport overnight layover—the same location where Shep suggested she’s reentering his orbit.
