The most talked-about love story in morning TV just got its next chapter. Andrew Shue, 59, and attorney Marilee Fiebig, 49, married Sunday at their farm in New Jersey, surrounded by close family and friends, including Shue’s sister, actress Elizabeth Shue. The ceremony was small, warm, and a world away from the tabloid storm that brought these two together.

That storm, of course, started in November 2022, when Fiebig’s then-husband T.J. Holmes and Shue’s then-wife Amy Robach were exposed for their workplace romance, which ended both marriages and led to their exits from GMA3 in January 2023. Shue and Fiebig began dating in 2023, got engaged last month, and now they’re husband and wife. Making the day even sweeter: Fiebig’s 13-year-old daughter Sabine, who she shares with Holmes, served as a bridesmaid.

The timing is hard to ignore. Holmes and Robach married in a private Arkansas ceremony on Sept. 19, which means these exes celebrated two weddings less than two months apart. As one insider summed it up,“I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending.”So, do you think everything worked out exactly how it was supposed to?
