American Horror Story is back tonight with season 13, subtitled 13, and it’s kicking off with three episodes airing back-to-back on FX starting at 9 p.m. ET. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to jump back in, this is it. New episodes also stream on Hulu the moment they air, and DIRECTV is offering a five-day free trial for anyone who wants to watch without committing.
The nostalgia factor is the real headline. Jessica Lange returns for the first time since 2018 and will reprise all four of her past AHS roles across the season. She’s joined by Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and more than a dozen returning actors, with the whole season designed as a tribute to the first twelve. Creator Ryan Murphy is even back in the director’s chair for the premiere, his first AHS directing credit since 2015, and he’s promising a supreme surprise.
The 13-episode season runs through Oct. 29, which gives you a five-week window to stay current before the finale. Three episodes tonight means three times the watercooler talk tomorrow, so pace your snacks and your theories. Are you watching live on FX, streaming on Hulu, or waiting for the full season to binge?
