Amanda Batula Says Kyle Cooke Doesn't Want Their Dogs After Split

Amanda Batula didn’t mince words when a fan asked about custody of the dogs she shares with estranged husband Kyle Cooke. In an Instagram reply, she said Kyle“doesn’t want”their two rescue pups, Reese and Ryder, putting a very clear end to the“who gets the dogs”debate. The couple adopted the dachshund/bulldog mixes from Waldo’s Rescue Pen in February 2022, and they’ve been fan favorites ever since.

The comments also turned into a health check for Ryder, after followers noticed the pup looking thin and started tossing around scary terms. Amanda addressed it head-on, explaining that Ryder has always been skinny, she’s had testing done over the years, and every result comes back normal. The vet says she’s healthy, so fans can officially stand down on the WebMD diagnoses.

All of this comes after Kyle and Amanda announced their separation in January following four years of marriage. Amanda has since gone public with her Summer House costar West Wilson, and both of them exited the show ahead of season 11.
