1OAK Is Back: Legendary Nightclub Returns for NYFW With a Star-Studded Crowd

If you came of age during the peak bottle-service era, you already know the name 1OAK. The West 17th Street nightclub was the definitive celebrity hotspot of the 2010s, and after shuttering during COVID-19 and getting evicted in 2022 over nearly $1.8 million in back rent, it just made a surprise return at its old address for New York Fashion Week.

The comeback bash pulled a genuinely wild guest list: Leonardo DiCaprio, Cindy Crawford, Kaia Gerber, Winnie Harlow, Future, and Ice Spice all showed up. Sources say the venue can open at that location up to twelve times a year, which means this could be the first of several pop-ups rather than a one-night-only moment. A rep also noted the 2022 rent dispute was resolved and the funds were ultimately recouped.

So what’s next? Co-owner Darren Dzienciol called the current run a“farewell tour,”but sources say Richie Akiva is reportedly pursuing a permanent downtown reopening for February.
