Whoopi Goldberg is hitting pause on Hot Topics. The“View”moderator is taking time off over the next two weeks to film Netflix’s“Women Like Us,”a comedy with a cast that’s basically a legend convention: Jenifer Lewis, Vanessa Williams and Vivica A. Fox, with Michelle Obama serving as executive producer. Don’t worry, Whoopi fans. She’s still appearing on Mondays before handing the table over Tuesday through Thursday.

And the fill-in lineup is a serious throwback. Lisa Ling, Star Jones, Sherri Shepherd and Debbie Matenopoulos are all rotating into Whoopi’s seat, with Joy Behar moderating the Hot Topics discussions. If you’ve been watching“The View”since the early 2000s, seeing these four back at the table is going to feel like a time capsule in the best way. Vivica A. Fox is even briefly stepping away from“The Young&The Restless”to shoot the film.

As for the movie, the plot follows a recently widowed woman who gets taken to the Hamptons by her longtime friends and her sister during what was supposed to be her 30th wedding anniversary. Whoopi told People it was“a little bit shocking”that she’s stayed with“The View”for so long, which makes this little movie-star field trip feel well earned.

Which former co-host are you most excited to see back at the table? Let us know.
