The countdown to one of the year’s biggest celebrity weddings just hit a new chapter—and it looks like Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are keeping their pre-wedding festivities delightfully separate.

While Swift gathered close friends at her oceanfront Rhode Island mansion in Watch Hill, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was doing what any groom-to-be might do: letting loose in West Hollywood. On Wednesday, June 17, the 36-year-old showed up at the exclusive Bird Streets Club on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip with his brother Jason Kelce and friends including former Chiefs teammate Ross Travis and comedian Druski. The guys rolled in around 8:30 p.m. in an SUV, and according to reports, they turned what was described as a“potential bachelor celebration”into an all-nighter that didn’t wrap until around 12:30 a.m.

The timing’s pretty perfect, actually. Travis had been in L.A. hosting a live taping of his and Jason’s“New Heights”podcast at the Orpheum Theatre just three days earlier on Monday, and apparently he decided to stick around and make the most of it. The podcast event itself was already loaded with couple energy—complete with a romantic movie poster and playful footage of Swift feeding her fiancé. So maybe the boys’night was the natural release valve after all that public affection.

Meanwhile, back in Rhode Island, Swift was welcoming her own crew to the Watch Hill section of Westerly. Close friend Abigail Anderson Berard showed up with her toddler, and other guests were spotted on the mansion’s rooftop balcony. It’s the kind of low-key, intimate gathering you’d expect before a summer wedding—though nothing about this wedding has been particularly low-key.

Which brings us to the biggest mystery still hanging over everything: where and when are they actually getting married? Swift and Kelce are expected to tie the knot this summer, but the couple has kept the specifics locked down tighter than a setlist. One popular theory points to Madison Square Garden in New York City over the July 4 holiday weekend—a theory that got a major boost when New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani casually mentioned the wedding during a Monday, June 15 press conference about security planning for concurrent events. Mamdani listed off the World Cup, the Knicks’NBA Finals run, America 250, and yes,“Taylor Swift’s wedding”as all happening at the same time in the city. When asked if he’d made the guest list, the mayor played it cool:“No and no. I wish them a lovely wedding. I’ll listen to‘Only the Young’at home on my own.”

One thing’s for sure—these two are making their final countdown count.
