Tom Cruise Says Taylor Swift Schooled Him on Football at Chiefs Game

Tom Cruise stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 17 and shared a story that’s already making the rounds. The actor sat next to Taylor Swift at the Chiefs vs. Broncos game on September 14, and according to him, she spent the afternoon teaching him about football.“She was schooling me on football,”Cruise said, adding that she was“bringing the football knowledge.”

That’s not the only praise he had for her. Cruise called Swift a genius and said he’s been following her career since she was a kid. The two apparently talked about more than just sports, covering music and movies during the game. And their connection goes deeper than a shared seat: Cruise attended Swift’s July 3 wedding to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, where Adam Sandler officiated. Kelce has since called it the best night of his life.
