An Austrian judge rejected a privacy lawsuit Wednesday from Beran A., the 21-year-old convicted for his role in the foiled 2024 terror plot against Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Vienna. He’s serving 15 years and claimed the Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era violated his privacy by showing his family’s home.
Judge Nicole Baczak wasn’t swayed, noting he hasn’t lived at that address in two years. Disney’s legal team also told the court the image had already been removed from the series, and his parents received €3,000 (about $3,400) each in a separate settlement. Beran’s attorney says they plan to appeal the decision.
