Ricky Martin just gave fans his first new single in years, and he did it in front of a stadium full of football fans in Rio de Janeiro. On Sunday, Sept. 27, Martin and Brazilian DJ Pedro Sampaio performed“Pikito, Pikito”live for the first time during the 2026 NFL Rio Game halftime show at Maracanã Stadium, while the Baltimore Ravens faced the Dallas Cowboys.
The performance was a full production. It opened with the pair up in the bleachers before they moved down to the field, backed by a dance crew that included the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and choreography by Parris Goebel. The song’s title means“quick kiss,”and Sampaio made that literal with a small kiss on Martin’s cheek during the set. Fans also spotted the viral“Vai no Cavalinho”routine worked into the show.
“Pikito, Pikito”blends pop, funk, samba, reggaeton, mambo, and salsa into one track, and it landed on streaming services via Sony Music Latin at 6 p.m. ET right after the performance. With a stadium-sized debut and a genre-melting sound, this is shaping up to be one of the biggest Latin pop moments of the year. Have you streamed it yet?
