Lady Gaga is a mom. She and husband Michael Polansky welcomed a daughter named Rose Bean via gestational surrogate, according to a TMZ report. The baby was born June 9 at 11:19 p.m. PT in Los Angeles, with the name and sex revealed about a week after Page Six first broke the news that a baby was on the way.

For Gaga, this moment has been a long time coming. She has spoken openly for years about wanting to be a mother, once calling it her“next starring role.”Sources say her journey to motherhood began in 2024 and included serious health challenges, including severe hip issues and other physical ailments, along with plenty of emotional highs and lows. Neither Gaga nor Polansky has commented publicly on the birth so far.

Rose Bean is the first child for the couple, who have been together since 2019 and married in recent years. Little Monsters across the internet are already celebrating the name, the news, and the new era for an artist who has always shared her biggest dreams out loud.
