KPop Demon Hunters has officially crossed over from streaming smash to collector’s item. The Oscar-winning Netflix film arrives on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on Tuesday, Nov. 3, with prices starting at $20.99 at Barnes&Noble. The three-disc 4K edition is on sale for $34.99, down from $49.99, and it comes loaded: a directors-approved Dolby Vision HDR master, Dolby Atmos sound, and cover art by Ami Thompson.

The bonus features are the real draw for fans. You get a new introduction from directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, a making-of documentary, video essays, lyric videos, an art book, and an essay by culture critic Karen Han. Add in the film’s two Oscar wins, Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for“Golden,”and it’s easy to see why this release is such a moment.

What makes it special is how rare it is. Netflix films almost never get physical releases, let alone a Criterion edition, so collectors and superfans finally have something to grab. Whether it’s for your own shelf or a holiday gift, this one’s worth a look. Are you picking up the 4K set, or sticking with streaming?
