KATSEYE Gave a Verizon Sweepstakes Winner a Private Dance Lesson Backstage in Paris

A Verizon Shine sweepstakes winner got the kind of prize people write fanfiction about. Jose Quiroz and three guests went backstage at KATSEYE’s Sept. 9 show at Paris’Accor Arena for a private dance lesson to“Animal,”with Daniela teaching the choreography count by count while Lara, Yoonchae and Megan performed the section alongside them. Daniela wrapped it up by thanking the group in Spanish.\n\nQuiroz entered the sweepstakes without expecting to win, and brought his wife plus his colleague’s KATSEYE-loving daughter along for the ride. The prize also included roundtrip flights to Paris, hotel accommodations and an Eiffel Tower excursion. His reaction?“I can’t really put it in words, so it’s still sinking in.”\n\nThat night, the Accor Arena crowd sang“Pinky Up”so loudly the floor and seats seemed to rumble.“Animal”debuted at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 10 on the Billboard Global 200, and The Wildworld Tour hits North America starting Oct. 13 in Miami before ending in Mexico City in November.
