A Glock 9mm that once stayed in a master bedroom has now become evidence in one of Hollywood’s most serious domestic disputes. On Tuesday, July 7, a judge ruled that Marcellus Wiley, the 51-year-old former NFL player, must surrender the firearm that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Annemarie Wiley, 42, claimed he kept close during their 12-year marriage. The order came just one day after Annemarie filed for divorce and sought a temporary restraining order aimed at protecting herself and their three children: son Marcellus Jr., 10, and daughters Ariya, 7, and Alivia, 6.

The case has escalated quickly since Marcellus’s arrest on Saturday, July 4, following an altercation at a Marriott hotel in Florida. According to Annemarie’s account to police, he threatened to kill her after putting his hands on her. The morning before, she alleged he poked her forcefully in the cheek in front of their oldest daughter. Officers found enough probable cause to arrest him for domestic violence battery. Now, with the firearm order in place, Marcellus has until the restraining order hearing on July 24 to prove he’s surrendered the weapon.

The allegations paint a troubling picture spanning years. In her filing for a domestic violence restraining order, Annemarie detailed incidents going back to 2012, when she claimed he raped her while she was intoxicated and threw a food tray at her head hard enough to dent the wall. More recently, she alleged that in January 2026, he dragged her from bed, hit her on the head, and assaulted her twice that night while claiming she was his property. She also stated he exercised financial control and admitted to tracking her phone calls.

The judge also issued a no contact order requiring Marcellus to stay at least 500 feet away from Annemarie, the children, their marital home, and her workplace. Meanwhile, Marcellus has denied all allegations and stated on social media that he has compiled videos, photographs, texts, and emails to contradict what he calls baseless claims. He wrote that he never wanted his family’s struggles public but knew the divorce was inevitable, and that he’s fighting to ensure his children know the real him.

This case reflects a darker side of celebrity divorces—when protection orders and firearm surrender become necessary measures, the stakes have moved far beyond splitting assets. The July 24 hearing will be critical not only for determining the terms of their separation but potentially for setting the tone of custody arrangements involving three young children caught in the middle.
