Jennifer Hudson Says Common Is the Only Man She'd Marry

Jennifer Hudson has never been the bridal-magazine type, and she’s said so herself. But during a conversation on the“Baby, This Is Keke Palmer”podcast, she admitted Common is the one person who could change her mind.“This is the only person, where I’m like, you know what, actually I would consider that with him,”she said, describing their relationship as amazing and beautiful. She credits timing and her own growth for the shift in how she sees love.

The feeling is very much mutual. Common said back in 2024 that if he gets married, it would be to Hudson.“If I’m going to get married, it’s to her. That’s as simple as that.”She confirmed their relationship on her talk show that same year, and the two have kept things steady ever since. Hudson is also mom to 17-year-old David Jr., whom she shares with ex-fiancé David Otunga, so both of them know what it takes to build a life with a lot already going on.
