Hilary Duff just wrapped a massive 2026 with her first album in over a decade, Luck…or Something, and her first tour in more than 20 years. In a new Billboard Takes Me Out interview, she opened up about the Small Rooms, Big Nerves run, which she described as genuinely terrifying, comparing it to riding a bike with a possibly broken leg. She also performed through stomach flu at her January 24 Toronto date before finding her confidence thanks to devoted fans.

Fan power played a big role in the setlist too.“The Math,”a rarity from 2003, made its way back into the show after fans encouraged her to play it. Duff also shared her pre-show rituals, called her“spicy”BFF nights“kind of evil,”and named Alanis Morissette as her dream collaborator, saying,“I live for Alanis, she is my god and my guide.”On November 10, she’ll receive Billboard’s Outstanding Pop Tour of the Year award.

It’s a comeback story built on honesty, deep cuts, and showing up even when you’re under the weather. So which 2003-era Hilary Duff song would you most want to hear live? Let us know in the comments.
