Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a new UK address, sort of. According to reports, the couple moved into a property on a wealthy businessman friend’s Cotswolds estate after returning to the UK in August with their children, Archie and Lilibet. Harry reportedly befriended the businessman through their shared support of military charities. And yes, the $14.5 million Montecito mansion is still theirs, so this isn’t a full California goodbye.

The royal-watcher chatter centers on the couple’s reported house hunt near King Charles III’s Highgrove residence. A move that close to Harry’s father would be a major shift after years of very public distance between them. It’s the kind of detail that keeps royal fans refreshing their feeds.

There’s a serious side to this story as well. Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle Sr., remains under investigation for child pornography allegations, and Meghan has previously spoken about protecting her children above all else. Plenty to unpack here, and plenty of opinions to go around.

Do you think Harry and Meghan will settle in the UK for good, or is California still home? Tell us in the comments.
