Even while serving time in federal prison, Sean“Diddy”Combs isn’t done facing legal consequences. The Los Angeles County District Attorney is now reviewing a new case that could result in additional criminal charges against the music mogul—one that involves allegations stemming from encounters with publicist Jonathan Hay between 2020 and 2021.
Hay filed a police report in September 2025 in his hometown of Largo, Florida, but the case was transferred to authorities in Los Angeles, where the alleged incidents took place. According to the complaint, Hay was working on a Christopher“Biggie Smalls”Wallace remix with Biggie’s son, CJ Wallace, when Diddy—Biggie’s longtime friend, mentor, and producer who helped make him a star before the rapper’s 1997 murder—would appear during their sessions.
In September 2020, Hay claims Diddy masturbated into one of Biggie’s shirts and told Hay to“come finish him off”before throwing the soiled shirt at him. Then, in March 2021, Hay alleges that Diddy called him a“snitch”and forced his penis into Hay’s mouth during another encounter in a room. The specifics are damning and paint a picture of brazen, predatory behavior.
LAPD detectives have completed their investigation and submitted their findings to the District Attorney’s office, where Venusse Dunn, the D.A.’s spokesperson, confirmed the case is now under review. The question now is whether prosecutors will find sufficient evidence to file charges.
This development adds another layer to Combs’already staggering legal troubles. In 2025, he was convicted in federal court for violating the Mann Act by transporting people across state lines for sexual purposes. While he was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges, he was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison. Now, with the L.A. County D.A. examining this separate state case, the possibility of additional prosecution looms—even as he serves his current sentence. It’s a stark reminder that accountability continues to catch up with him, one allegation at a time.
