Chad Lowe and his wife Kim Painter have reportedly put their Los Angeles home on the market, accepting a conditional offer of $3.249 million, according to real estate records viewed by TMZ. The couple purchased the four-bedroom property in March 2025, a few months after their previous house was lost in the Palisades wildfires. Neither Lowe nor Painter has commented publicly on the sale.

The move comes after the couple announced in September that their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, died by suicide. In their statement, they called her loving, smart, and creative, and shared that she loved to dance. Fiona’s older sister Mabel, 17, posted an emotional Instagram tribute on October 3, writing,“I love you so much, Fiona. I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now.”The couple also shares 10-year-old daughter Nixie.

For a family that has faced wildfire displacement and the loss of a child within the same year, decisions about where to call home are deeply personal, and the couple has chosen to keep this one private. If you or someone you know is struggling, the 988 Suicide&Crisis Lifeline offers free, confidential support 24/7 by call or text. How do you support families navigating grief?
