TMZ reported the hospitalization followed an alleged suicide attempt. His representative confirmed he is recovering and receiving care, asking for privacy on behalf of his family.
Thompson has headlined at the Luxor since 2005, one of the longest-running residencies on the Strip. He first broke through in the early 1990s and has since appeared across film, television, and most recently a 2024 role on“Hacks,”keeping him in the pop culture conversation three decades into his career.
