Newly released body camera footage from Las Vegas police paints a harrowing picture of what an accuser claims happened during an encounter with adult entertainment performer Drake Von. The video, obtained by TMZ, captures her account to officers in raw, immediate detail—the kind of statement that doesn’t get softened by time or legal strategy, just a woman describing what she says occurred while the memory remains fresh.

According to the footage, the woman told police that Von was on top of her and she couldn’t breathe as she struggled to push him off. She says she eventually kicked free, but claims Von then snatched her cellphone during the struggle. What’s particularly striking is her description of briefly losing consciousness—she told officers she couldn’t remember anything for approximately two seconds after Von allegedly restricted her breathing. That gap in memory, however short, carries real weight in cases involving strangulation allegations.

The video also documents physical evidence. Officers photographed bruises and scrapes on her hands and knees as part of their investigation, visible markers of the struggle she described. In another segment, police are shown speaking with Von’s twin brother, Jordan, outside a home connected to the case. Officers informed him that allegations of strangulation and domestic violence had been made against Von and that they were executing a search warrant at the residence. Jordan appeared reluctant to answer certain questions.

Von has categorically denied the allegations. In a statement to TMZ following his arrest, he said,“All allegations are false, charges will be dropped, and it was all a misunderstanding.”He also characterized the case as a“publicity stunt.”Von was arrested and charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation, felony coercion constituting domestic violence with threat or use of physical force, and misdemeanor domestic battery. He was later released on bond.

The release of body camera footage in cases like this serves a specific purpose—it creates an unfiltered record of an accuser’s immediate account, before narrative layers accumulate. Whether that footage strengthens or complicates the prosecution’s case, or how a jury might interpret it, remains an open question. What’s undeniable is that it shifts the conversation from headlines and statements to actual testimony captured in real time.
