Beyoncé’s haircare brand Cécred is officially going international. The brand will launch at 90 Space NK stores across the UK, plus the retailer’s website, on Sept. 22. It’s the first time Cécred has entered physical retail outside the United States, following direct-to-consumer sales and a partnership with Ulta Beauty here at home.
Cécred launched in 2024 after six years of research and development, and it was self-funded from the beginning. That independence let Beyoncé, her mother Tina Knowles, and CEO Grace Ray invest heavily in product testing instead of answering to outside investors. The approach is working: at Ulta Beauty, the Restoring Hair and Edge Drops are the brand’s best sellers, and Ray has described the company’s revenue as“exceptional.”
Knowles has said the long-term vision is to make Cécred available around the world, and the UK launch is the first major step toward that goal. It also speaks to a bigger shift: growing demand for prestige haircare built for diverse hair textures, on shelves far beyond the U.S. Will you be trying Cécred when it lands in the UK, or are you holding out for a launch closer to home?
