Aaron Rodgers Says His Family Rift Is Healed. A Source Says He and Jordan Are Just "Cordial"

Aaron Rodgers made headlines for the most unexpected reason this year: saying he’d actually reconciled with his family after a decade of distance. On a podcast, he described tough conversations with his parents and each brother, and he credited his new wife, Brittani, for helping bring everyone back together. It seemed like the end of a saga fans have followed since 2016.

A new source, though, is pouring a little water on the happy ending. Page Six reports that Aaron and his brother Jordan are only“cordial,”and that the quarterback has led the public to believe things are better with Jordan than they actually are. The source also says Jordan and JoJo are sensitive about family talk. Worth noting: Jordan and JoJo live in Puerto Rico and rarely leave, so their absence from a recent game-day photo isn’t automatically proof of a feud.

So where does that leave things? Somewhere between a podcast victory lap and a work in progress. Decade-long rifts don’t resolve on a schedule, and cordial is still forward motion. But saying it’s fully fixed when it’s somewhere in the middle? That’s the part people are side-eyeing.

Do you think“cordial”counts as reconciled? Tell us in the comments.
